Business Portraits for Pirmin Jung in Metzingen
From the series: Photostories in London, Metzingen, and the world.
The international engineering firm for timber construction Pirmin Jung needed some business portraits for their new team members in their branch in Metzingen. All of their approximately 100 team members are being photographed in the woods – an amazing idea with great potential regarding branding and creating a brand identity.
Outdoor Portraits in Metzingen
For outdoor portraits, you naturally need good weather. Not necessarily, but preferably the sun should be shining. At least for my type of photography, this is favorable. Above all, it shouldn’t rain. That’s why we made two appointments in case one of them fell through due to bad weather. But it was dry on the first appointment, so we met in the car park near a popular path in the forest in Metzingen.
The woods are helping with the branding and creating a brand identity.
Together with Max and John, the new employees of the Metzingen branch of Pirmin Jung, I went for a little walk into the forest with my camera and portable outdoor flash and we even had a bit of sun. It created a beautiful golden glow in the background. The passers-by were delighted with the unusual entertainment in the forest and we got some beautiful pictures that have a special recognition value, not least thanks to the unusual setting.
One day later...
One day later, the pictures were already on the about page od the company’s website – and I received some nice feedback from Pirmin Jung’s marketing department, which I was very, very pleased about as always: ‘Great photos! This makes work fun – thank you for the quick and good work and I look forward to the next time.’ Thank you very much for the great job – and I’m already looking forward to the next time also!

Mitarbeiter-Portraits für Pirmin Jung in Metzingen

Das internationale Ingenieurbüro für Holzbau Pirmin Jung benötigte Businessportraits für seine neuen Mitarbeiter in der Niederlassung in Metzingen. Alle rund 100 Mitarbeiter werden im Wald fotografiert – eine tolle Idee mit großem Potenzial für Branding und Markenidentität.
Outdoor Portraits in Metzingen
Bei Outdoor Portraits ist man natürlich auf gutes Wetter angewiesen. Nicht zwingend, aber vorzugsweise sollte die Sonne scheinen. Zumindest für meine Art zu fotografieren, ist das vorteilhaft. Vor allem sollte es schon mal nicht regnen. Daher haben wir direkt zwei Termine ausgemacht, falls einer davon ins Wasser fallen sollte. Doch gleich beim ersten Termin war es trocken, also haben wir uns gleich da auf dem Parkplatz des Metzinger Trimm-Dich-Pfads getroffen.
Wie Wälder helfen bei Branding und Markenidentität.
Zusammen mit Max und John, den neuen Mitarbeitern der Metzinger Filiale, bin ich also mit Kamera und tragbarem Outdoor-Blitz in den Wald spaziert und schon hatten wir sogar ein bisschen Sonne. Die macht den schönen goldenen Glanz im Hintergrund. Die vorbeigehenden Spaziergänger freuten sich über das ungewöhnliche Entertainment im Wald und wir haben schöne Bilder bekommen, die nicht zuletzt dank des ungewöhnlichen Settings einen besonderen Wiedererkennungswert haben.
Einen Tag Später...
Einen Tag später waren die Bilder bereits auf der About Page auf der Webseite des Unternehmens – und ich habe ein nettes Feedback von meiner Auftraggeberin aus der Marketing-Abteilung von Pirmin Jung bekommen, über das ich mich wie immer sehr, sehr gefreut hab: „Tolle Fotos! So macht Arbeiten Spaß – ich danke Ihnen für die schnelle und gute Arbeit und freue mich, auf ein nächstes Mal.“ Vielen Dank für den schönen Auftrag – und ich freue mich auch bereits auf das nächste Mal!
